You may need to turn the page back...it could take a minute...there is a whole lot there to move!

On a more positive note....old Rupert just signed up for Sunday School classes!

Not me....I'm going into the class she teaches! I bet she can "save me"! It might take a lot of work on her part, but old Rupert is very willing!

You may need an altogether different type of saving if Mrs Rupert finds out about your lessons!

Apparently you don't know Texas?
Our friend got pulled over for speeding. She hands over the license and her carry permit. The officer comes back after calling in the stop. "Where is you weapon madam? At home officer. Well... you should have it on you at all times" said he

A cop pulled over an old lady in Texas.
"Do you have any weapons, ma'am?"
"Yes, I have a .357 in my purse, a .45 under the seat, and a 9mm in the glove box. Oh, and there's a 12 gauge in the back seat and an AR15 in the trunk."
"My God, lady! What are you afraid of?"
"Not a damned thing., sonny; not a damned thing."

They are big on guns here, no doubt. I seldom carry, but do have one in my car when I leave home. Don't leave home without it...

Mrs Rupert saw that photo and said it was "disgusting". Of course, I readily agreed....

Did everyone have a big day today? We did not much of anything.....so hot and sooo humid! The 4th used to be hot and bone dry, but the weather here has changed drastically and for the worse.

Been finishing up oil change and service on my car and the Kubota riding mower.

As for Independence Day festivities, well, it won't be dark until about 9:45, so the mortars are still tucked away.

And since I have a doctor appointment at 8:30 tomorrow morning, I'll probably be in bed asleep by then.

Having sworn allegiance to the Queen... I suppose - bygones be bygones. (It's 240 years after all) Happy Independance Day!

Reminds me of that little tiny widow woman at the grocery store a few years back that dropped her purse....had a .44 Mag in it!

One of my favorites...and not far from reality here.

Shopping in Texas? - YouTube

I was thinking of the time we stepped down the dark hallway of the Mexican restaurant and you showed me yours and I showed you mine.
