No...I watch the recent "happenings" on TV and realize it is an epidemic.

A very slow low speed approach capability, good brakes coupled with those clamshell bucket type thrust reversers they had. Remember how they worked on them?

Noisy, but very effective.

A pilot could even back the plane up without a push back from ground support crews.

Nice! I forgot about those reversers!

And there was news this week of an old lady who was accosted for an attempted robbery near a supermarket here. She fought off the assailant with a packet of bacon.

Maybe in France, but in Texas it is definitely Dumbass. We know them well....we've got plenty of them.

Not France, French.

The video was made in Canada, eh?

And in some parts of Canada they speak French.

Like Québec.

And the Quebecois say Dumas.

I believe the word you look for is "pandemic".

Well, that's exactly what they do around here - bacon, butter, cheese and whatnot - but I'm sure what really makes people actually believe that the stuff is edible, even a delicacy, is the huge amount of aquavit and beer involved in the process of consuming it.

And the day after they'll blame them being ill on the poor alcohol, the very thing that kept them alive.

Today's jet engines still have them, but they are an internal design and somewhat quieter.

The missing? Anyone seen old Normhead lately? Otis has become worried that wolves got him or maybe a bear? Haven't seen him in all the usual places in many days, which is highly unusual. Is it possible he is in the PF jail? I always wonder when someone that is a borderline "Rupert Type" goes missing in action.

If so, Otis has a plan to spring him, and with his powerful connections, he should be able to slice through the red tape and get him out on probation.

Ever wonder about the "missing". They just drop off the face of the planet and sometimes are never seen again? What happened? Where did they go? Usually it is a mystery never solved.

We had a guy at another site that was very active for years, a great shooter and a great poster. He got himself a little home studio......was doing great work....then he got himself some of those wanabee models from some internet modeling site.......then he started shooting them in motels....I think the bright lights from his strobes must have bothered his wife in that home studio???
Next thing you know he disappeared and we haven't seen him since. I wonder if the strobes finally blinded him and he couldn't find his way back home.......seems logical to me. So many mysteries when someone goes missing.....

Thought I saw a post by him awhile back about an upcoming operation on his knee?

That's better than wandering around blind in a motel parking lot unable to find your way home...but should not inhibit his typing or internet connection?
