I shot a bird yesterday too, a chicken, an apple wood smoked chicken.
But my weapon was a Pentax MX-1, love that little guy for grab shots!

Tomato based sauce on the left, Big Bob Gibson's white sauce on the right that became transparent from the heat.
That looks lovely, Rob!

Mentally? That's another issue.

Tim, that is not "big brain thinking". You don't improve fuel consumption by replacing what you take out!

Otis said you needed some recognition for your observation! Not just everyone gets one of these! Congratulations!

He had a speech prepared for your award ceremony but it was 10 pages long and I refused to post it...you can thank me later!

I didn't get your reply in time so I took them back and traded them for Halls cough drops.....it cost me an extra .50 cents plus the gas I burned going there...but since my truck was lighter I don't think it was very much gas burned? I'm still not sure why I should hate the hocIR....I love my K1 and it didn't come for Hoya......but I don't want to get out of order here....I'm already going against the flow in too many places.

Hey.

I've been swimming upstream all my life.

Why change direction now?

The temptation to rollover and drown is strong at times......but you too understand it is just not in our nature to do a rollover. It is in our genes....mine from my Mom.....she would die before rolling over...which may explain why she will be 90 next month and is as difficult as ever...no more....and no less!

She just spent 30 minutes on the phone questioning a stock move I made in her accounts...one that I told her about several months ago and she had no hesitation on it. So why the drilling now Mom? It has made you $4k in 90 days, is that a problem?

"No, I just wanted to see if you had any basis for your decision and if you could prove it."

I guess I passed?

Regards!

I did not say that the fuel consumption would improve after the stuff was replaced, just that with the stuff gone the fuel consumption improves aND there is space to put new stuff into.

Rupert took out one lot of stuff and got two results: now that is big brain thinking.

Thank you for sparing us 10 pages of quotations of Otis.

And the Mod is probably pleased too.

That's not how Otis read your reply and thinks you are just fishing for an award.....so he has one for you! Congratulations!

It's better than this one I talked him down from...

Everyone is pleased. Ten pages of squirrel rattle is more than any of us deserve.

Don't worry. Some minds are less robust, just a fact of life.

Me? Mentally I feel quite alright (no, no need to ask my wife). Physically not so much. My feet are sore, every muscle in my legs hurt, and my back aches. My own fault - we went for a 25km/15mi hike over rough terrain in the mountains today. Brilliant walk. Except for me not being prepared for it. In truth I expected worse, though...

Might have captured some nice pictures in the process, but can't post them in this thread
