I rode with my friend from Texas to Virginia. Compared to Texas all the other States were very green. Now I want to visit the National parks. It was a very beautiful drive.

Believe me, it is very green around here! Everything is green and more rain all this week will make it even greener. Nat Parks? Ever been to Big Bend?

I got bored this afternoon and went shopping at Aldis, time for a chocolate delivery of 12 tomorrow and Aldi has great chocolate!

While there I ran across the preacher's wife, a lovely young lady I have known for many years.

After some cordial conversation and praises for the benefits of Aldi shopping, I got around to asking about the Big Chicken. It's been a year an a half since I gave the Big Chicken to her husband, the preacher man...

They live on a ranch and the Big Chicken has a great home......but I was worried he had maybe gone to Chicken Heaven?

Nope, the Big Chicken is like family out there, has a free range in the day and a secure stockade with his hens at night. She said everyone loves the Big Chicken....her kids, her in-laws that live out there too....everyone loves the Big Chicken. How many offspring does the Big Chicken have......hundreds, many hundreds!

Some Big Chicken stories here for those not familiar....

Sometimes you hear good stories and it makes your day! This one made my day!

I'm proud of you Big Chicken! Otis too ......and he sends his best regards!

The last little bit of the sourdough bread went to the raccoons tonight. We ate a ton of it and gave some to family and friends. It was delicious! Many thanks again to the unknown donor!

Mama raccoon sends her thanks too!

Regards!

Well, I didn't really mean to go completely MIA. We closed on the house, got moved and I've spent gobs of money on assorted things that we needed. Furniture, tree work, paint, locks, etc. We're mostly set up now. Hoping to get back to picture taking soon.

Yah, that's real important to me too...but I am mostly curious as to what happened to the Pentaxdude? Seems he just disappeared? You reckon K3 Fanboys got him? It could happen?

After I got my K1 I was out on the deck in front of my shop one day and I swear there was a guy out in the Woods of Otis with what looked like a K3 trying to get a snap of me peeing off the side of the deck, something I sometimes do to save time from going back into the house. No one is out there....sometimes laughing squirrels but no people. When I spotted him he took off running and I haven't seen him since. I suspect he was going to try and blackmail me into giving up my K1 for a K3. If he got a shot, it must not have amounted to much?

Our Great Father still lurks.

His last visit was last March.

He will return again.

So he's not what you would call a "robust poster"? That hociR must have hit him pretty hard? Reckon he sought counseling?

It's more likely that by not participating here he has avoided the need for counseling.

Maybe he never learned how to crop to enlarge things?
