The last post of Our Great Father was the very first post of this thread.

That was October 13, 2013. The three year anniversary is coming up. Preparations for the annual celebration are under way.

Well, it's still underway. But the expected result is "There are many, but not as many as there are squirrels". I think that's quite precise for an international $2bn operation? It's just a pilot project, after all.

I know, I know, it's not funny when it's too close to the truth

Indeed. And I believe we are about 40 posts closer to 30,000 posts for the 3rd anniversary than we were to 20,000 this time last year. We made it last year, so shouldn't even have to break a sweat this year

You just said shirley was bringing the wine. REALLY cheap Bordeau, no doubt.
I'd be happy to supply the lutefisk and Vegemite.
It shouldn't take much considering the rather unsophisticated palates of this bunch.

There are more squirrels in my yard than there are Mooses in the wild...or is it Meese?

Otis doesn't even have to go out on a limb to know that's a true statement!

(Damn, he's brave! & so good lookin' too!)

Welcome back to The Thread!
I wish! I had to spend $3k on tree work removing 80' tall dead pines.

You'll have to translate that to English! Pray do tell: What is a junior, a sophomore and a freshman?

...and then comes senior and, hopefully, graduate? Unless you get the dubious honour of being a super senior in between?

I believe all this has been invented for no other reason than to confuse foreigners.

When you are a senior (12th grade) and wear a letter jacket (signifying you excel in some sport) a junior girl is an easier target than a senior girl. A sophomore is even easier, but a freshman girl is a cakewalk!
Anyhow, that's how it used to be many years ago.....

I see potential there, not bad at all. As a world famous drawing artist, I think that if you work at it you can go far.....

You have a long way to go to reach my abilities, but I was just born gifted to draw, not everyone is.

My rendition of a handsome little birdie...in living color! I think this is a young female Cardinal? She only posed a few seconds, so I couldn't be certain.

Forgot.....My drawing is copyrighted...don't even think about using it without my permission. Who knows...it might end up in a famous European Art Gallery like so many of my other masterpieces?
