Very good in a bacon, pepper, onion, tomato, and goat cheese salad.
The dressing was juice from 2 limes, 3 TBS honey, 2 TBS melon juice, dash of Sriracha sauce, and a pinch of salt.

I could go for that easily! I don't do many salads, Mrs Rupert has an aversion to salads and is more a "meat and potatoes" type eater. If I buy salad veggies they mostly go to waste. I sometimes grab a take-out grilled chicken salad from McDonalds (very fresh and very delicious!) and bring it home to add bacon and my own choice of dressing......spicy dressing...another thing Mrs Rupert does not like.

Hard to cook around here, she is so picky. I made spaghetti yesterday and had to divide it so I could have a spicy sauce and she could have her more bland sauce. I like "Hot"......and she like "Not".

paper towel = extra fiber in the diet.

Mrs Bob is picky too, nothing spicy or hot, no peppers or even ground pepper, no meatloaf/meatballs, no sandwiches unless it's a hot dog or burger on a bun, to name a few.
She must have potatoes with most every dinner, and fried chicken is tops on her protein list.

Don't worry about eating the paper towel. It's just cellulose and fiber. What doesn't digest will pass.

Yep, Mrs Rupert and Mrs Bob miss out on the spices of life in their meals. Mrs Rupert even had the nerve to say my biscuit and Velveeta looked "disgusting" after I loaded it with some jalapeno slices....they just don't "get it", do they?

Mrs Rupert is in a panic....again....she has gone back up to 122# from 119# and blames my superb Chicken Soup.
It has my special roux with real butter, secret spices and a special soy flour. Add a big can of pure white chicken breast chunks ($1.39), cream cheese ($1.29) shredded cheddar ($2.29 one pound bag) a little mozarella and some no-fat 1/2 & 1/2 cream ($1.89 quart) . Some steamed broccoli (.89 cents -2 heads) and yellow squash (.89 cents for three) , and liberal amounts of Aldi fresh bacon pieces ($2.29 pre-cooked)

Simmer until all is well blended and keep on a low burner for about an hour until it is the thickness you desire. Serve with the Aldi butter crackers ($1.99 a big box) and you have a delicious meal with only 500 calories per tablespoon!

Wash it down with Aldi fat free milk ($1.39 gallon) if you are counting calories...or maybe a small glass of that red Shiraz ($2.89 a bottle) if you also need to shine your shoes after dinner.

Well, it is working fine for me. My inflammation is almost gone and I think I can have that surgery next month to get rid of the hemorrhoids.

It is sort of messy stuff so I use Mrs Rupert's panty liner pads to keep my underwear from staining. It's a hassle but sure beats the misery I was in a week ago.

Spicy foods do not help, but I am not giving them up as long as I have the Butt Putty!

It's genuine Velveeta cheese...wonderful stuff. Aldis doesn't carry it but it is available at all the other places in town.....I never run out of Velveeta. The bacon shortage was a freak accident....but I just stocked up and it won't happen again.

Tonight some BLT with sharp cheddar. Some Aldis great potato salad ($2.29 for 2 lbs) and corn chips (.79 cents a big bag)

Mrs Rupert went with me to Aldis and said I have too many girlfriends there and all the hugging and cheek pecks made her think the personnel there must be "a little on the trashy side". Hey...you are the one that married me!
