The lorry is actually owned by the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History - I suppose in order to show the cultural history of some of our immigrants as well as of those of us who've got ancestors of a less adventurous disposition.
Isn't Norway on the European continent, and Pakistan on the Asian continent?

Sort of like a guy that loves ham but hates bacon?

So did you spend all your time bag-piping or did you do other activities? Was the food good? Was the weather fine? Tell us your bacon-free story. We're listening!

Regards!

I don't like ham or bacon...

Mostly practice chanter rather than full pipes.
Did some highland games. 3rd in caber toss, 2nd in sheaf toss and 5th in rock toss. Around 5th in highland dancing.

Bad compared to home food.
God's meal compared to velveeta swear

Rain all of July everyday and rain into most of August.

I actually ate bacon a few mornings...

Did they have to pump your stomach?

A rainy camp.....not so much fun I'm guessing. The year I went to Boy Scout Camp it only rained one day....but it didn't matter, we had already managed to burn our tent down and got to sleep in the rec hall. Smoking cedar bark is not a good idea anyhow, it swells the tongue and makes you sneeze a lot.

We had a great time at camp that year, but were never invited back. We learned to start fires with a magnifying glass....which could also be used to light cedar cigars.....and lots of other things.

If we had Mod tents here I'd never get out of them unless I burned them down.

What is "chanter"?
