Right now a completed airplane rolls out the front door every 2.5 days.
Soon that rate will slow to one very 3 days.
And there are rumors that is may slow to one every 5 days.
Still a blistering pace.
The 747 line is on something like a 30 day rate.
Glaciers move faster than that.
Even post office workers move faster.
{That felt as good the second time as it did the first!}

It escapes me the logic of how the place operates.
And still they crank out a phenomenal amount of airplanes every month.
The 737 plant in Renton is rolling something like 3 planes a day.
Let me repeat that for anyone who isn't paying attention.
Every day 3 planes roll out the door, ready for shakedown.
I bet that is a busy factory. I've been there many times, again when I drove Monstro, and indeed, it is a hive of activity.
