Neither of us is retired though, so we can still stay out of each other's' way about 10 hours a day.
Congratulations!

Maybe Racer can tell us if that is something like Nodoze.

Exactly. Enough of the subject now.

A few years after retirement I put my trusty HP 15C on eBay after deciding I would never use/need it again.
It had a sweet program for running a traverse using coordinates.
Your picture reminds me a story here earlier this year. One of the big name mail order businesses based in US refused to accept an order from someone who lived in Isis Close, Oxford, UK.

Just imagine... PentaxForums as a BBS on an 80x25 character screen with a 300 baud dial-up connection... we have it better now, I think...

Well done! We're "only" 20 years this year.

Rob, my wife still uses one just like that. (She's a surveyor) She swears by that HP!

I sure don't miss the Commodore (Vic) 64. The "64" stood for 64kb RAM.

My 19th year as a buyer/seller on eBay was Oct. 3.
I rarely buy or sell there these days, but was a heavy hitter for many years.
Here's some facts for those who didn't visit the site in the early years.

Your ID was your email address.
Fees were very low, and postage was much more reasonable than it is today.
eBay didn't send an invoice, you did.
You could buy/sell almost anything, including guns.
You could leave negative feedback for deadbeat bidders, and you could see bidder IDs.
There was no Buy it Now option.
Very few sellers had the knowledge or means to post pictures, this often meant long written descriptions.
Payment was by cash, check, or money order only, meaning completed transactions could take a couple of weeks.
It used to be fun, and still can be when you list a fairly rare item and watch the bids climb near the end.
Folks used to start bidding right away instead of last minute.
Some of my buyers were practically friends due to our communications from their repeat purchases.

Once on dial up connection after a rain, I attempted to go online, well the damp connections between my house and the stuff outside misinterpreted the dialup and called 911 multiple times. Instead of 'getting online' I ended up with several police cars and two officers walking around my house suspiciously with flashlights and guns.

LOL

It's a little known fact, but the same thing happens to PentaxForums spammers...

Got my 10 year pin at work today. Hard to believe it is real gold and a real emerald on it.

In other news I also had a butterfinger. My waistline said now, but my mouth said ohh yeah.
