As I understand it, when one goes inactive for more than a certain amount of time their status reverts to that of a new member, albeit temporarily. After you become active again things will return, likes, Pentaxian (for those of us who don't 'subscribe' to the forum or otherwise support it), and the privileges that go with it.

A few things have changed since you last haunted these boards Joel.

Welcome back!

Don't be such a stranger.

We missed you.

Actually Rob, I was stationary at the time; I was standing out of the car taking pictures - I took one in all four directions and the horizon was just the same in each one (except for the faint line of trees to the north)

Reminds me of a road heading to Colorado Springs, CO, but more flat.

I've been on some long, straight and flat roads.

It only looks good because of the bacon, the other ingredients are optional at best.

Try this.

The road to Slate Peak, the highest place you can drive in Washington state at 8,000 feet elevation.

I think this part is where Arlo Guthrie got inspiration for the Motorcycle song.

"On one side of the mountain road was a mountain . . . . . . "

The bread, apple and peanut butter are a clear attempt at creating an illusion of healthy eating.

Back to roads.

Can you still see pavement?

If so, keep the hammer down, Rubber Duck.

Who cares if it is -15F?

It got even colder before it got any warmer.

Just don't wind up like this dope.
