edit: pretty sure the K3 is not "kiisseli" resistant...
we have it year round
fresh in the summer, frozen otherwise

mixing in apples or strawberries moderates some of the tartness
if you use cranberries you need almost as much sugar as fruit

we usually do crisps or cakes but occasionally bake it in a pie

a couple of sisters ran a small café west of here
they made rhubarb cream pies topped with a fabulous meringue
served it once a week
people came from three counties to eat it
the pie was scrumptious...but the color of the pudding/filling...bilious

kisselli...didn't know it had a name but I've had some berry version of it when I was working in the old "ethnic" neighborhoods here in town
once the old folks found I was polish and Swedish, I was fed a lot and often

For those not owning a Steve Irwin phrasebook, that's funny!
Why would anyone need a Steve Irwin phrasebook to understand that.

Oh, and Parallax will need to take Mark out the back and ask him to say that again!

There's a bit of slang there, so good to see you have no problem with it.

Would you say, Tim, you like a bit of pedantry?

I can see you as a very correct teacher ...

Billy (excitedly): Sir, I put a firecracker up a chicken's a**********!

Teacher Tim: Rectum, Billy, rectum!

Billy: Rectum? Damn near killed 'im.

I'm pretty sure that describes the rice cakes I've been eating...

Probably NSFW, but breakthrough technology that seems worthy of this thread.
Guess the Brits like to keep more than a stiff upper lip.

I got one of those, and they don't work. I did not get a rating. All my wife and I heard was laughing.

Interesting product... however, I'm holding out for a lower-cost version with fewer features. I can live without the "girth" measurement...

EDIT: I'm also interested to know the life of the product in... er... "actuations". I can probably make do with K-30 / K-50 levels for "shutter life"

A Kodak would suffice for me.

In the late summer there was also huckleberries. A tasty tangy sweet treat.
Never seen a huckleberry? Had a bad case of dingleberries a while back, and they were no treat! Found a cure. Works like magic too!

We used to eat mulberries when I was a kid, very delicious. Our Moms all told us they had bird lice in them and caused worms.....we ate them anyhow! Ever eaten mulberries?

Regards!

now that my son has kids he calls that spackle

when mulberries are good they aren't too bad
but they might be the blandest berry ever

I don't know about bird lice but they seem to generate a lot of bird poop

My mom used to say "a little clean dirt won't hurt you" she never mentioned bird poop.
Haven't eaten a mulberry in probably 60 years, but I'm good.
