And that is why I will not buy a K3.
Right; and people cause accidents, but sometimes accidents cause people.

Only four pages... not that much for a weekend... what's wrong?

Well, only thing worse than finding a mouldy spice pound cake in an MRE is finding half a mouldy spice pound cake in the MRE. This weekend, FTX, so MREs all round. I was eating a good ol' spice pound cake, but it didn't taste right... flipped it over and it was covered in thick mold...

I believe he whaled on the Beetle, too. In my late teens, I owned a beautiful old '64 Beetle. The only thing unsafe about it was my lack of driving experience...
in our ghetto school there were full-blown machine and auto shops

one of the guys in my art class built a beetle with the engine and drive train from a gto

as I recall it was also unsafe at any speed and it pretty much only went straight

Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen!
Lets have all three verses:

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save The Queen.
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save The Queen.

O Lord our God, arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall;
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks;
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all.

Thy choicest gifts in store
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign.
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice,
God save The Queen.

Not old yet.

Give me another 30 years or so.

Then I'll be old.

Maybe.

Back a couple of pages to Tim's question;
The answer is "Minder" and the other answer is Dennis Waterman.
Thanks. Takes a compatriot to answer a question about a TV series.

I'm looking for the "Multi-Like" button but we don't have one.

My I say, Her Majesty would be touched by such loyalty from the colonies. I'll be sure to pass on your best wishes, just as soon as I've wiped the tear from my eye...

Could have been worse - they could have called you "squeak", which might have been embarrassing there in the City. And even more so if they had turned it into Pip Squeak - so Bubble sounds not to bad.

Bubble and Squeak - you remind me of dinners at a college I resided at while studying in the 80s. We had that reasonably often.

When I was young there was a footballer who played for Port Adelaide who was called Bubbles. Not sure why. I think he played full back in the first game I went to see, Sturt vs PA at Alberton on a dreary rainy afternoon.

Heard there were tornados in Texas. I know TX is big, but were they anywhere near Rupert?.

Burning of books, including dictionaries, is generally considered one of the great offences against culture.

There was a TV show ages ago with one star character called Arfur who used to refer to the fuel energised vehicles as "mo'ors". Can anyone remember the title of the show and the young character's name, the one who worked for Arfur?
Buubbles I think Robert Obst or Peter
I think bubbles refered to his stature?

Having sworn allegiance to our Queen in a public ceremony in order to become a New Zealand Citizen, I can assure you that our queen is well liked, even in these distant parts.

All government owned / public property in New Zealand lists on the property title, as owner: "Her Majesty, the Queen". The property directly on the other side of the road from our home is thus owned by the Queen. When my daughter was little, and she heard my wife and I talk about this (my wife is a land surveyor), she asked: "When is the Queen coming to see her property?" I must remember to write and ask.
