Nah, I'm never oriented the wrong way.

Well, not always.

And that driver wouldn't have noticed a zebra at the zebra crossing. Not even with the stripes the way you suggest.

Costco Prime grade beef brisket on the smoker, coleslaw made, baked beans next, and I'm tuned in to some Waylon.

BTW, bob, you can get air horns for your truck...the neighbor has them under the hood of his dodge ram
My neighbor installed a train horn, engine driven compressor and a big air-tank under his pick-up truck. He pulled the air valve lever while on his driveway facing the house, his wife was not impressed...

Waylon Jennings - I`ve Always Been Crazy - YouTube
their brisket is better trimmed than most...I think

I like to trim the ends for use in BBQ beans

I occasionally make cornbread pie crust shells
prebake them and fill them with meat and beans
cooked long and slow the beans' liquid is much reduced
you actually get slices of bean pie

Busy, thus the long time no see Wrapped up the postgrad in Scotland, now in medical school in Munich. Spending my days looking at things under microscopes and cutting up dead humans to learn anatomy. Exciting times

Did I miss anything important while I was gone? Rupert been eaten by the Squirrel Mafia yet?

HornBlasters - Don't Blow Your Temper, Blow Your Horns!

Watch the videos. Funny, but they contain some language, and in at least one someone gestures towards the guy with the horns.

You missed everything.

Brief synopses:

Bacon.

Oh dear, I had no idea. Now wished I hadn't made that comment.

Jim, I am so sorry to hear this. But may your remaining days be filled with bacon, and family, and the love of your life (in reverse order), and may you, when the time has come, come to rest under a beautiful old tree full of squirrels scurrying around, dropping nuts on your head.

Not a problem Mr Fox. It is what is as...as they say. I am trying my best to make the best of the final days....the love of my life by my side. My youngest son came up from San Antonio came up this weekend and my Mom and sister came down from Euless...all to see me. We had a great visit, lots of BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken and pecan pies with ice cream. Was a good time....but it wore me out. I have no energy or strength and what I do have is spent trying to maintain my breathing.

I like that part about resting under a big tree....as squirrels scamper above.....as long as they don't pee on me...which they have done a few times.

If you have as wonderful a life as I have had, and are as fortunate as I have been, when you get to my stage in life, you will feel more blessed than not.

Regards!
