a girlfriend gave me a huge purple one with electric blue stars
I was lifeguarding that summer and burned every day...it kept my nose tan not red

I wore it to real work one day...the black guys liked it, the old white guys hated it
a fellow I rode with sometimes attached union pins to all the stars and everything was copacetic after

Baseball caps look stupid, toques are too casual, my fedora is too formal, and my swiss military hat doesn't quite cut it for everyday wear:

Pinnekjøtt is racks of mutton smoked, cured, and dried. A method of preservation, obviously. Prior to cooking, the individual ribs are cut from the racks, then soaked in cold water for 8-24 hours (depending on the saltiness) before being steamed for about 4 hiurs.

Served with mashed swede, boiled potatoes, beer and akevitt.
