Same thing here, last year when Vancouver got a few centimeters of snow and below freezing the city literally shut down.
Here we have more than a few centimeters an quite a bit cooler than freezing...

Bah. If you'll excuse a bit of photo talk... I've just received a request to use one of my images in the promotion of an exhibition in France, and if so under what terms. Like I would know! I shoot for fun. Terms shmerms...

I guess the easy route is to just graciously decline

Would that be Zimbabwe dollars?

if the conversions are right.

Doesn't sound right. I think I paid about US$5 (including shipping) for a100 trillion dollar bill. Or was that two? They do demand more now, though.

Scott Bakula is a Kirkwood HS graduate, so we watch. NCIS is the only Network television we watch. AFA difficulty being on the Forum while watching NCIS, Yes, that’s a problem. The Forum regularly kicks me out when I do that. I have to reset my WiFi to get back in.

works for me, ours are laxer than that in Canada but still significantly more stringent than the US.
Here it’s sort of like this, (except at a gun show, where you skip to the end):

ME: I want to buy this (longarm / shotgun / sidearm).
Dealer: OK. Ever do anything bad? Owe any Child Support? Owe any taxes?
ME: No, no and no.
Dealer: Just a moment - (enters my number in computer) - Cool then. Cash, check or Credit Card.

What I do with the firearm after that is entirely my concern, but I bet I’m more concerned with safeing and safe storage than most jurisdiction’ most restrictive ordinances.

After my haircut tomorrow I plan to have a gyro for lunch, my first one ever.
I'll get the tzatziki sauce on the side since me and cucumbers don't get along well.
It's the same place that makes the very excellent lepinja bread I posted a pic of earlier with my egg McBob.

When did you get that quote? They add 0's all the time, to the conversion multiplier.

When I went to Hanoi I had to pay 2,000,000 dong for a prepaid SIM card. The monumentally princely sum of USD1.50!
