Pork rinds, aka crackling's, aka Chicharrones are the next best thing to bacon.
Brooke the yellow lab and I have been working on an 18 oz. barrel of rinds, $8 add-on item from Amazon.
These are some of the best I've eaten, with or without hot sauce, with or without Hatch green chile salsa.

Container ports are sketchy places. I know because I've been in and out of a few.
Keep the truck. I’ll take the container crane operator.

I went for a ride in a 747 once, about 30 years ago (long before I worked in the Big Shed) from Seattle to Minneapolis. My seat was in the last row, at the very back, on the aisle.

I looked forward several times during the flight. I could see all the way to the front of the plane.

What I saw would scare anyone who doesn't have a good understanding of how large aircraft are designed and expected to operate.

The floor undulated, twisted and buckled.

A lot.

Just like it was designed to do.

First I saw that was a DC-8 Stretch. It looked like hills and valleys at 30,000 feet.

My one and only ride on a 747.....
I believe I've sung the 747's praises here before. It's my favourite airplane. It's a special feeling to get invited to the upstairs area. It's also the only plane (other than 4-10 seater Cessnas) that I have been in the cockpit of during flight.

No, but there should be a group intervention for anyone who would put it on a pizza.
LOL. It`s all good. I don`t do this very often.
Pickled herring tends to be little over powering, completely masking the pepperoni and the nice sausage.

I like pickled herring. Got a jar of it in the fridge.

Tasty!

(But probably not on pizza)

I like fried pig skin too.

Way back when, in junior high school a classmate brought some in his family made on their farm from a freshly butchered hog.

Just like the kind in your barrel ‘o cracklins.

Just polished off the rest of the "ACME" pickled herrings from Harris Teeter. Nice but lacking compared to IKEA.

At least you didn't have to assemble it.

Saw quite a good movie last night. "Little Children", shot way back in 2006.

I wait four years for the Winter Olympics - and asahiman floats a new camera meme that nobody can resist shouting about. That’s why I won’t buy a K-3.
