Just going out in the morning takes a lot of extra time with the extra layers, then again removing excess clothing when getting to work.

Of course, some people seem immune to the cold but throw a fit once the temperature raise above 20C
I'm one of those people - I much prefer the cold than heat.

moi aussi

remember cotton when wet kills - draws heat from the body

wool when wet still helps to keep you warm - does not draw heat from the body

silk is worth paying for when looking for long underwear

Love a good cold winter (Midwest/Great Plains style, temps way below 0 F and windchill even further below, nice crisp air and sun sparkling on the snow)

Love a good hot roasting in the desert

Loathe the hot, humid, sweltering summertime climate of the Midwest, East, South, etc etc... Blargh!

Now I have started talking to myself in an attempt to convince me that most people are harmless even if they are mentally ill

Not my favourite either, but having to choose between that and (shudders) a cold winter... No contest.

Of course, even worse than the cold is the darkness. Those short, short days of December and January really saps all energy.

That's behind us now, thankfully! It's the first day of Spring, right?

A bit like the short, short days of July and August for us?

Only halfway done - and the pain is much worse after the filing around. Next appointment in two weeks, hopefully feels better by then.
Who ever knew that teeth could cause such pain?
