So click on the "Insert Image" button, then insert the url of the image as below, click okay and voila!

That's what I do, but with Flickr the pics include img, robtcorl, etc. unless I remove them.
On my pic you guys can just right click and use copy image address.

No, you must choose the BB Code tab:

Click the "share" icon first:

Then copy then string you find under the BB Code tab:

This you can paste that string straight, no image tags or anything.

I think maybe the forum software strips it sometimes - at least when you look at your own posts. But yeah, I fear we might be very close to crossing some line.

Then again, it's hard to stay within limits without knowing where they are.

I'm sure Rupert could have told us a thing or two about that...
