I knew a young lady in college who would say

" I was barn in a born "

instead of

" I was born in a barn "

she was from St. Louis Missouri

I grew up saying " Pop " for a carbonated soft drink

In our radio news this morning, it was reported that Britain is in the grips of a "heat wave".

"Meteorologists reckon highs could reach 20C in north-east England by Tuesday, with highs up to 19C elsewhere."

Stay strong folks. Make sure you slap on the sunscreen and stay well hydrated. We're thinking of you.

I will be OK. I will go and hide in the office. I can adjust the blinds to stop too much sun shining on me.
