Um, I don't suppose you'll be competing there, will you?
If I was less than half my age, somewhere around half my weight, and I could somehow manage an average speed of 44km/h over 4 hours, then - yes - I'd be all in.
In reality - not a snowball's hope in hell.

It was my boss that sent me too. We went. We saw. We left out the 'we conquered' bit, and left. So: Vini, vidi, non vici, which written the original way would have been VINIVIDINONVICI. bECAUSE THOSE GUYS DID NOT KNOW THE READABILITY BENEFITS OF LOWER CASE AND SPACES BETWEEN WORDS. I was lucky enough to watch the Mt Etna stage on TV - one of the highlights in the history of the 'Aussie-owned' Mitchelton-Scott team, with a 1-2 side by side finish.

A few years back a lot of the cyclists dobbed in Mark Cavendish for holding on to the Sky team car, towing him up the volcano.

It must have been blatant for professional cyclists (notorious secret keepers) to have reported him.

Did he hold onto the car directly, or was it a case of a very sticky drinks bottle?

For pro cyclists to break 'omerta', he must have been sitting in the back seat, Mark!

So that is why they race in teams? They put the bikes on the roof and all pile into the back seat, and close the darkened windows. Now it is clear why there are always a bunch of white vans with bikes on the roof chasing just after the riders.

Don't mention Macbeth....it would be fun to overdub all the instances of Macbeth in this video with Kaythree

I was just responding to Mrs. Racer this morning while eating breakfast. I had to turn is a couple hours earlier last night, as I needed to get up two hours earlier today so I could start work earlier. Our crew has been short a few mechanics this week so those of us that do show up have to take up the slack.

The thing is, when she posted that I was already in bed.

Guess I showed her, huh?

Movie titles to go with that quote:

a) The Year of Living Dangerously

or

b) Death Wish

Pick any two.

That reminds me, I have a pacemaker check, and heart doctor checkup in the morning at 0800.
Good thing that even in retirement I still get up with the chickens.
