Manure?

Stuff happens inside and the grass turns into flesh, which is, thus, just processed grass, not meat, when the eater is a vegetarian.

The problem with vegetarians is that a lot use meat replacements (ie Tofu, veggie burgers, etc...) instead of cooking a vegetarian meal, so at heart they want to be an omnivore as the human is meant to be.

Tofu, as the white stuff, is fine to treat as a real vegetarian thing. But it is really the mushroom based imitation meats, which taste and have texture remarkably like meat that seem to belie their real intent.

Last night we had a lamb leg. I took out the femur and stuffed the space with rosemary leaves and mint leaves, then slashed the leg and inserted orange zest, then roasted it to well-done and glazed it with orange marmalade.

Had some with guests last night, the shank bit and a couple of other pieces and packed the rest for Monday and Tuesday lunch.

Was good.

After your advice about honey and the goats, Bob, are you sure we should be encouraging young Robert to post photos?

Oh, completely unrelated, I'll point out that I dated a vegetarian - once. Not my proudest moment.

Can vegetarians eat mushrooms? I mean, physiologically they are closer to the animal kingdom than they are to plants.

Btw, I am a vegetarian. I do eat veggies. Too.
