Did you get any pictures?
Sure did.
As soon as I got out of the Jeep I was told that I was the official "team picture" and "group picture" photographer for the event.
What I really wanted to do was be on the flight-line shooting the takeoffs, landings and crashes...
I did have an opportunity to get some shots of the flying action after most of the team pictures got taken.

Here is the group picture, taken at high afternoon with everyone looking into the searing sun

Amazon women cannot be bought.

But if one takes a liking to you, there will be no denying her.

She will take you.

And you might need some bacon to keep her happy.
She can have bacon and eggs!

...can those things fly a Pentax camera?
The Octacopters sure could, they have a pretty good payload capacity.

Guess it's because I usually highlight what I want to quote.
Lesson learnt.
Yep, if you highlight and "Quote this text" you lose all formatting, however if you click the actual quote button you keep the formatting.

Yup. Saw that also.
On their defense, this group photo timing was a total surprise and utter chaos to all of us.
Turks, Pakistanis, Indians, Israelis, Croatians, Italians (they did not give up and made that plane fly no matter what)
Polish, Germans, Canadians, American universities and two high schools of which one finished on a second place
And UCLA Berkley with an attitude... Gave them slack because they are from the west-coast.
Next time I just will not accommodate their schedule.

They feel very entitled for spending too much money even though the Grad students teach most of the undergrad studies. You almost never talk to an actual tenured prof until you are going for a Masters or PHD at Berkeley. (Waste of cash for whiners.)

I had my Airshow by Back Cove in Portland this afternoon. The wind was ripping and the gulls were soaring and having a good time. And My KP meant I won't buy a K-3!

Could you expand on this comment? Had you been thinking of getting a K-3 of some kind? Does KP have the "advanced" capabilities you need
{inquiring minds want to know - right now a KP tops my "want" list - but I would take a K-1 that magically showed up}
I was considering a new or used K-3/K-3 II but really wanted the KP a bit more so got it. It is an amazing bit of kit! It even helps to capture Unicorns! See!
