Looks like a duck going right & a unicorn going left.. ? Nice image though, no K-3 necessary.

Cannot believe this thread is still hanging by itself, when is the next milestone?

Yup. Saw that also.
On their defense, this group photo timing was a total surprise and utter chaos to all of us.
Turks, Pakistanis, Indians, Israelis, Croatians, Italians (they did not give up and made that plane fly no matter what)
Polish, Germans, Canadians, American universities and two high schools of which one finished on a second place
And UCLA Berkley with an attitude... Gave them slack because they are from the west-coast.
Next time I just will not accommodate their schedule.
I remember reading on a model aircraft magazine about a meeting in England quite some time ago.
It was a competition with those balsa-and-paper, rubber band-powered aircrafts, and it was recounted on the magazine by a group of Italians who had entered the competition.

Long story short, they could hardly fly their planes because they didn't have enough coats of that thing used to make paper taut and waterproof... impregnante, tendicarta, whatever it's called in English... because they weren't used to the warm and sunny English climate

Dope.

It is called dope.

As a young boy building my first balsa and tissue airplane I applied too much dope. It caused the tissue to pull too tightly and warped the wings so severely the plane was unflyable.

Hey you take me way too seriously!
The trend has been steadily improving day after day... into the second week top poster could have 30, 40... now it's 90-100, and - more importantly - there are more regular contributors.
This is not a contest, but a team effort, and as such when I see "teammates", so to speak, do well, I'm spurred yo do just as good (or at least trying)
Top posters? The bane of usenet. Almost incomprehensible.

I meant posters with more posts in that particular day, not top posters as in "those who post above the others". But you got that, of course
I'm not familiar with Usenet myself.

Acropolis Now. Very non-PC from the same people who did "Wogs out of Work".
