Of course "Post Of The Day" is not a sentence; it is a label or a title.
Why hello, things have been slow here without all your posts.

I did it just for U.

Without going into details, it should be sufficient to say that none of us can "carry" this thing. We still need a few posts from each of lots of posters.
Understanding that this thread is numbered among the more important things in life, I'll make a contribution to the cause. My K3 is still impressing me BTW.

Those are not grammatically correct sentences; a sentence should contain both a subject and a predicate.
This is how you show appreciation for a compliment?

Sheesh!

Having breakfast at the Farmhouse cafe near La Conner, WA, on my way to NAS Whidbey for the annual open house and air show.

My family lived there in 1966-1967 when dad was in the Navy.
A somewhat disappointing day.

They no longer have an airshow.

And even though the base website said cameras were allowed, I was not allowed to take my K5IIs in with me.

There were three airplanes on static display. An E-18 Growler, a P-3 Orion maritime surveillance aircraft and a P-8 Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft (a modified Boeing 737).

The P-3 and P-8 were open for walkthroughs, and I did go inside the P-8. The Growler was simply on display, but not open.

There was also a search and rescue helicopter on display, and a PBY Catalina seaplane open. I was able to go inside the PBY, even sat in the cockpit.

Oh, and I got a nice sunburn after walking on the apron all day.

That is a grammatical construct that I have found common among people from the land of bagpipes.

Never quite liked nitrites and nitrates in meat and byproducts thereof.
We have a kind of head-cheese called soprassata here in Tuscany, and where I buy it there's this locally-produced kind which has no nitrites-nitrates and because of that has a gray-ish color.

I'm personally fine with that, and it doesn't last very long in my fridge anyway!

Then fix your fridge.

Are you sure you do not mean: "Understanding this thread is among the more important things in life."

Nitrates have probably saved more lives than we will ever know.
Celery juice and powder are both high in nitrates.
Both are used to dupe the public into believing the label stating "no artificial nitrates added" are better than artificial nitrates.
BS
...you (well, I in this case) always learn something new!
