Some of these games make WWE wrestling look good. I am not against issuing a red card for egregious flops. Naymar's recent antics come to mind. I will never root for a team that he plays for. I think it is one of the main reasons that the game has not caught on as a main stream sport in the US. Whenever I talk to people about soccer, the flop is usually one of the first comments out of their mouths.
England up 1 - 0 over Croatia
I heard an interview about the flopping with the
women's footballer of the year in Europe 2016, she's playing for the same club as Neymar. She said he was a brilliant football player but that his acting was right out embarrassing and ruining the sport.
In the women's team they don't want to admit being in pain and so get up and play on. And when asked if it never was so painful that they couldn't get right back up she said "Sure! But with that kind of pain there's no way you'll roll around on the ground - you lie still!"
