Like my son told me:
Hey dad, I found out if you turn your cap around backwards it keeps the sun out of your eyes!
(I fibbed about it being my son, it was in a comic strip, my boys are much smarter than that.)

As for coastal cruise I guess the obvious choice is Hurtigruten - it's not exactly cheap but it's supposed to excellent. I'd like to go with them some day, at least part of the trip. Maybe Trondheim to Tromsų, arguably the most spectacular part. The full return trip Bergen-Kirkenes-Bergen is almost two weeks, way too long for me to be locked up on a ship! They do offer combined trips going north by ship and returning by plane, too.

The full trip has 34 ports of call, but not all of them both ways, I think.
I have heard them talking about something like this.

They carry goods as well as passengers even if they have turned more cruise ship-like over the years.
So instead of steerage, there is the cargo hold.

If it is comfortable, and you like it, then it is perfect!

If I am walking around shooting, a cap or hat gets in the way. Since I use the diopter adjustment in my viewfinder, I always push my glasses up my forehead when looking through it. A hat gets in the way. With a ball cap I can turn it around, but I think that is a dopey looking way to wear a hat.

I have a huge collection of hats.

Maybe I'll lay them out sometime and photograph them. Like one of those gigapano images I've done. Just laying all my hats out will take a fair bit of room. More than half of an average sized room in a residential abode. Probably use my Sigma 16mm Rectilinear Fisheye or the 28mm Mini Wide, on my K5IIs, which works perfectly.

So I won't be needing a K-3.
True, when I am doing the photography thing...it's a baseball cap turned backwards

Until a few days ago, I thought deer visited our yard only in the springtime; they come to eat the ivy upon the hillside when nothing else is green. The other day I noticed a path up there; apparently they come all year long to eat ivy, but I'm not aware of them when the trees have enough leaves.

Time to put some venison in the freezer.
I think the same thing every time I see them headed for my orchard. They killed several of my fruit trees.

They sure are cute though.

deer can tell time during hunting season for sure

back when I would hunt white tail deer, you saw them prior to legal hunting hours and

then they would disappear until legal hunting hours ended. They would then appear.

I only have one cup on workdays.

Today is Saturday, and I am getting ready to go back downstairs and brew my third cup.

It will likely have a little somethin' somethin' in it too, eh?

*wink!* *wink!*
