Since '56.

The other guy got it all rolling for me in '51.

In Sequim.

Does anyone here know how to pronounce Sequim?

It isn't how it looks.

No idea. But if I had a go, I'd have to ban myself!

I remembered from when I lived up there. Had a good time up at mason Lake last week as the weather was much cooler than here on the East coast.

This just reminded me of the brilliant Dustin Hoffman joke as told on the Graham Norton show:

Yes, a S'Klallam name. It supposedly means "a place for going to shoot".

Mark, you can ban yourself for thinking that thought.

Good place to hunt, they say it was.

Stayed in Sequim in summer 2016, while we were waiting for the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. Eats at the Black Bear Diner ...

And yes, of course, Skwim!

Sequim, Washington, located on the Northeast corner of the Olympic peninsula, is a small town. Situated adjacent to the Olympic Rain Forest, Sequim has the lowest rainfall in the state, lower than the more arid high desert regions of Eastern Washington.

Sequim sits in a rain shadow, nestled at the foot of the Olympic mountains.

This was sixty years ago, but I still remember.
What did you get? A '58?
