I'm surprised that the gator did not take a bite. She has a rather high nibble factor.

No, let work be work, leave the alcohol to my free time - and pray don't bother me with work on my free time! Cheers!

I used to grade final exams on my couch with a glass and a bottle of wine near me ... sometimes I needed the support.

Plus I would sit down and grade 150+ written exams and not stop until about 2 or 3 in the morning. Trust me, the stairs in my home were quite tempting a time or two ...

But really, the next day or so I would go back and sample "like graded" exams to see if I had not gotten too hard or too lenient towards the end of the grading session. Usually all was OK ... very few adjustments.

Cheers back at y'all !

Tempting stairs... Tempting to climb them and go to bed, or tempting to throw yourself down them to end it all?

It pays to be clear.

Otherwise, carping!

Haircut this morning, then a doner sandwich at my favorite Bosnian deli.
As always, I could only eat half and save the other half for another meal.
Also bought 2 loaves of that killer bread. My egg, cheese, and bacon McBob will be kicked up a couple of notches in the morning.

I take it that you chose a different alma mater.

It is a Texas thing since Texas A and M is an agriculture and mining school. With the exception of the girl on US Big brother, who makes the Aggie jokes work. Every one of the folks I have met who went to A&M were extremely smart people. And it actually has pretty tough entrance standards.

Maybe it is because I try not to talk to stupid people that I have this impression, but I maintain it is the truth. Here I just Boris Cleto maroons!
