Well, my normal breakfast has only changed a bit in all of my 67 years. While growing up it was Wheaties and 6 pieces of white bread toast with real butter. After I got married at age 26 I switched to Wheat Chex and toast. Today It is still Wheat Chex. Small bowl this morning with no toast. If I do have toast it is now 2 or 4 pieces. Still with butter.

Once in awhile, on a Sunday I will have three soft boiled eggs with 6 pieces of toast. Been awhile though. Now I am hungry again.

No, that would waste energy as the toaster cooks two at a time and you cannot shut off a side. I'm trying to "save the planet" here.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
I've used my phone frequently when I didn't have a "real camera" available.
Ok, I guess I can't really blame the phone for limitations that are inherent with any wide angle lens. So let me rephrase: Phone cams can be good for a lot of things, but their limits are rather more restrictive than those of a K-1 with a good selection of lenses

What it boils down to for me, though, is that I will never be able to enjoy using a camera with such a bad user interface as the typical phone has. The tiny sensor doesn't help, but it's less of a concern. My phone has given me some nice images over the years, but it will never be my camera of choice if I have anything else available (which of course is the one redeeming property of the thing - it's always there).

Bacon!

3 almond flour pancakes

2 soft poached eggs + thinly sliced cheddar cheese + 2 slices of bacon

1 egg omelet + mushrooms + onion thinly sliced cheddar cheese + 2 slices of bacon

I make one piece of toast quite often, in the winter months the extra energy isn't wasted, it helps heat the house.
So I'm only wasteful half the time.

Before electronic surveying devices came along surveyors used a 100 foot steel tape that was called a chain, a throwback term to the old style measuring chain with links.
The head chainman would start walking, when the 100' end was reached the rear chainman would yell "Chain Out!"
Our crew changed that to Aretha's Chain of Fools song and sang out "Chain Chain Chain!"

Yup, during my summer surveying job I did a lot of walking with the end of the chain, the other surveying dude ahead pounding in stakes every 100' while the instrument man kept us in a straight line.

Just saw this too. Looks like she got a promotion from the "Queen of Soul" to the Queen of Souls".

RIP Aretha. Thanks for the music.
