I'm at a presentation right now, and reminds me of something that I have always found curious; h-dropping and h-insertions. The gentleman holdeing the presentation is speaking perfectly fluent English, but can have sentences like "We 'ave a 'ost where the h-end user can create their h-own projects..."

I know this is quite common in a lot of English dialects as well.

Quite fascinating

Hi Savoche
Why letters are dropped or inserted I have no idea
As you say dialects are the likely cause
Its not just saving ink

Success at employment isn’t luck.

It is the result of hard work and dedication to one’s chosen profession.

the only ones I know of would have what is called a cockney accent which is from London

think of the character of Eliza Doolittle in movie My Fair Lady based on Bernard Shaw's 'Pygmalion'

My Fair Lady (1964) - IMDb

to a large extent you are correct

but every generalization has its exceptions

some choices are voluntary

some are not
