A new law went into effect this morning in Missouri, the only state to have it.
The new law states that if you market something as meat in Missouri, it has to come from an animal or face a $1,000 fine and a year in prison.
The makers of Tofurky are suing.

folks in Missouri can't just read an ingredient list ?

or are you folks concerned about restaurants faking the menu ?
