Nope. Not the kind of film I watched back when I watched films. Now I hardly do anymore.
It's never too late to watch The Big Lebowski. I put off watching it for years because I didn't think it would be my kind of film. I was so wrong. I'm not a huge fan of comedies, but this is different. It's just a really, really well made, quality movie with a truly awesome script and great characters. It doesn't hurt that the casting is perfect too. Jeff Bridges is wonderful, but so is everyone else.

Donny: Are these the Nazis, Walter?

Walter Sobchak: No, Donny, these men are nihilists, there's nothing to be afraid of.

And then I get mindnumbingly bored unless it's a good film. And so precious few are. I pretty much stopped going as I most of the time ended up sitting analysing lighting and camera angles out of boredom.

Or to put it another way: Should I?

Ok, ok, two awesome dudes can't be wrong. Maybe some time next year, then.

Then again, talking of nihilism...

Beats me, but it happens here often that you get the news that one of the motorways is closed because a truck is on fire.

Either they set fire to them, for the insurance claim, hoping they will not be found out for arson, or they select horribly unreliable trucks when they go to the showroom.

Or (more likely) the trucks are so poorly maintained that something fails in the fuel system, a leak develops, and a fire results.
