There was a whole pig roasted at Mrs. Racer's son's birthday party a few years ago.

It was tasty!

The weather here is beginning to change. Much cooler nights, a couple of morning frosts, on the windscreen. FYI: in England a garage is NOT for putting a car in, and insurance companies charge higher premiums for putting the car in a garage. May be because the garages are still made for 1930s size English cars (about the size of a Model T) and many people drive oversized SUVs, which do not fit properly on the roads nor in carparks, except at Costco. We had a couple of really warm days this week, though.

And the whingers on the BBC were complaining that they wore coats in the morning and by middle of the day had to carry the coat around.

Some people do not want to be happy.

Yes but the saying is about the footwear, not the Bread!

Finland?

You Americans...

When I ride an elevator, just as I am exiting on the floor I am headed for I push every button, then exit.
You wouldn't like it in this building. The button panel is on the wall outside the elevator, so every button is basically a "here" button.

I once had a race against a lift down from the 13th floor. I got to 12th before the lift so I pressed the "here" button, did the same on the 11th, 10th... I won by a mile

(No, not literally by a mile. I'm metric, after all.)

That sure saves you a lot of time

Nordician - that's a new one. Have you registered the trademark?
