Today's Pearls Before Swine strip might kind of fit in with the current topic.

Yes, I was more chess team than football.

One thing I did learn is that bullies, without fail, are cowards. Once you realise that, they're easy prey. And that's as much as I'll say about that.

LOL Excellent

I wonder how many folks see that as a "feel good" cartoon? I know I do... It pretty much distils everyone's lives into one concept. No-one's life, no matter what their background, is perfect. Yours might be slightly more or less imperfect than mine, but that's about all we can say

You should ask one of them.

There is probably a local chapter of one of those MC clubs in your area.

There could be. Lots of motorcycle folks up here (my Dad too, for a while). Most are "weekend warriors", but there are some hard-core club fellas too...

And yesterday, at a very similar location, a car got wedged under the back of a rubbish truck. Person flown to the local major hospital, about 5 miles away.

Flying people to hospital when it s only 5 miles really tells you something about the effectiveness of the local road network. It often takes members of the public attending outpatient appointments at that hospital about an hour to go the last 1/2 mile and find a park, and taking the bus is not much better because the bus gets caught in the queue to get to the bus stop.

Careful, in Australia such pictures and subjects could be interpreted as political. The root of that has to do with state Premiers (kind of like US governors) talking about things to do with the management of the supply chain of white powders, and tabulated 'fine chemicals'.

savoche,
I ran across something called baconost, or bacon ost today, I need to know more.
Bacon and cheese in a squeeze tube? Oh hell yes!
50 % cheese
14 % bacon
36 % mainly water, I guess, and some melting salts - whatever is needed to make it squeezable.

I eat the stuff mainly when camping etc - easy to transport without things getting messy, it keeps well etc.

Apart from that I'd prefer Pepperost (with lots of black pepper, actually has a bit of a bite) and proper slices of bacon on top

Then again, I haven't tried out this one...

You obviously have to be stupid to be cool. Anyone who can tie their own shoelaces are nerds, anyone who can write their names are outcasts.

Strange how those cool guys aren't always so cool 30 years down the road.
