Slow day in the neighborhood.
Good thing too, Mike's arthritis is inflamed, and I'm having low back pain with a muscle spasm thrown in every now and then.
I was at the grocery store earlier when one hit, damn near went down, and damn near screamed.

Yep, worked like a charm

That does not exclude the possibility of you doing something wrong, though!
That's for sure...so, have you been there? Looks like a gorgeous spot...or maybe it's just Cosmin's K-1

My cycle's a bit weird right now... I tend to get up around 7am, some days by 2 - 3pm I'm feeling pretty exhausted and uncomfortable from the arthritis inflammation, so I lie down and doze for a couple of hours. As a result, I'm wide awake until midnight or even later.
Sorry to hear that Mike.

Thanks, Mark... Really, though, I'm fine. I just heard that my ex-wife's best friend from school days - aged 52 - just died from a relapse of cancer So in the grand scheme of things, I'm not doing too badly

You're right. As I always say, when I complain about my ailments: "It's better than being dead!"

I wondered how you could have missed my reply there - then found out that something had rudely interrupted me before I got to hit the submit button

Yep, that something indeed was that ugly time wasting beast called "work"

Come to think of it, that ugly beast does provide the means to keep the hociR fed and thus helping Tokyo stay safe.

So I guess work is the lesser evil - even though I'm not always sure this time of day...

Those numbers include non-consumers, of course. Those like me. I never drink coffee. Well, unless I'm at work. I wouldn't be able to work before lunch without coffee, it's just not my time of day. And after a big lunch I need coffee to keep the drowsiness away.

But apart from that I never drink coffee.

Unless I'm served a mug, of course. Refusing would be rude, wouldn't it.

But of course tea drinkers like myself will lower the per capita consumption of coffee.

My standard phrase is "Well, it could be worse!" - which is the outlook on life I strive for. Makes it easier to appreciate all the good things in life. And goodness knows there are lots of good things in life.

Ouch. That tends to shut you down fairly efficiently. See a physiotherapist if you haven't already. In most cases the remedy is exercise. Boring, time consuming, often painful, but it works. At least for me it does.

Good thing I already have a K-1, then

Btw, I just found out that I'm already stinkin' rich. I'm well within the 1% with the highest income in the world
