Hey Dave.

I have both slides and negatives.

And a Pentax K5IIs.

I copied some of my negatives this morning.

Here is a shot of an Air France Boeing 747 circa 1981 or so, with death rays shooting out of it.

Run for your life.
I don't mind the death rays, but it's Air France so, yes, run!

Frost on the pumpkin this morning, first hard freeze of the season.
One cup of joe down, one eye open.

Mrs. Racer 2.0, her younger sister and brother are headed for Hawaii today.

Racer has been elected taxi driver to get them to the airport.

Second cup of coffee coming up.

TAXI - YouTube
Yep.

That would be me.

Mrs. Racer gets mad when I driver her car like that though.

Her younger sister says nothing, but also doesn't give any feedback about liking or disliking the ride.

Her brother makes comments I can't repeat here, but generally seems to enjoy the ride.

Oh, and I'm back.

62 miles each way, with a stop on my way home to get groceries for my upcoming couple of weeks of bachelorhood.

Took about 2 hours, including the stop at the market.

I pretty much set the pace. No one can keep up with me.

Except the cops.

In fact, coming out of the airport a Lynnwood city cop (don't know what he was doing so far South) was riding my rear bumper. I did exactly the speed limit heading for the freeway, and he passed me. After that I followed him, at the correct distance, all the way to Lynnwood. Amazing how many people came storming up, nearly passed him, then jammed on the binders.

Just as we passed the Lynnwood city limits, some dope in a Chrysler went flying by at warp speed. The cop pulled him over.

Loser.

Meanwhile, as the cop was then busy, I kicked it up a notch (to my usual 7 over) and made up for lost time.

LARGE day outside; clipped back all the plants, planted crocus and tulip bulbs, fixed a leaning fence, put the winter tires on the Forester and an oil change, pressure washed all the rims and the front entry way and now it's Darth Smoker time. My two week aged prime rib will be going in...and I will post pictures of this at Bob's request, Oh, and enjoying a nice dark English ale.

Oh, and I just pulled the trigger on a new camera.

A shiny new K-1 is on the way, complete with battery grip and extra battery, and some other stuff called an "accessory bundle".

And that is yet another reason I will not buy a K-3.

Bacon baby!

Bacon!
