It was Labour weekend here. Labour weekend is often the first sign of spring here. (No-one plants tomatoes before Labour weekend, lest you want frost to kill your tomatoes) We had glorious summer weather.

BTW, I did read all 38 pages and had opened a lot of posts to quote on, but didn't when I realised I would be spamming the thread with hundreds of replies to week old discussions.
