Yes manufacturers always pack a spare somewhere in the product.
Why you might ask

To mess with the consumers head ofcourse.

They send it back for "fixing "

Only one? Not bad! I think most things are over-engineered to not need all of them anyways. My friend and I did an engine swap and had quite a few extras left over, but the next day the car drove flawless on our roadtrip and back haha

They ripped you off by installing it and making you pay - just to justify the employment of extra people all the way back in the supply chain. Over a ew million laptops it probably does manage to employ the equivalent of one extra person.


Just think, you were subsidising paying a person who was 'hidden unemployed'.

jeez you are obviously a good bloke to have around when the computer goes pop, i know how to switch mine on and not much more than that, regards with the screw ian

I have built every desktop computer I have from scratch, then installed the operating system and software.
