Is that SOOP {straight out of phone}?
Cropped a little, and a filter on GP to make it stand out a bit more.
Here's SOOP, and I agree no 3k needed.

Either way, just another reason you won't be buying a K-3.

With SOOP like that, who needs it?
Or even a K-1 for that matter :-P

An Amazon package came today for Mrs Bob, shortly thereafter she got an email with a pic of it at our front door.
Guess we can't claim her Edison style light bulbs didn't arrive.

Best way is to connect the phone to the computer and upload them...

An iPhone has no sockets for that and no removable media to use as the transfer device. Everything must go out over some network, and I do not know a way of connecting to the local wifi and sending to the PC.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them to see if I can sort the problem.

Another problem I found was the printing was producing really flat looking pictures - not sure if it is my printer. I got an only sightly improved picture from my proper camera using Silkypix. I expected better since an earlier generation printer I had (s/w no longer supported and cartridges no longer available) produced quite good colours. The present one makes pictures look like film pictures underexposed about 1-2 stops.

Horrible news from CA.

I notice that Americans seem much more inclined than Australians to stay put, or wait until it is far too late to leave, when a disaster is coming into town. Seems true in a variety of disasters.

An iPhone has the Lightning connector.

Plug the Lightning/USB cable into it, and the other end into a USB connector on your computer.

Open up Windows Explorer and navigate to the iPhone. The folder with the photos can be copied and pasted into the folder of your choice in the computer.

Easy Squeezy
No Pain
No Stain

Never!

That said, I never* bother with building my puters any more. The last few ones I have ordered from a shop that will build it for me for a modest fee. Makes it easier to avoid buying incompatible parts - and gives me better buyer's protection when things break.

*I replaced the MB and CPU on my current box because I managed to underspec it

Mine is four-dimensional. It takes forever to print anything.
