That is, I do feel sorry for you. Never having a Friday evening to enjoy... Every day being a Saturday.
I prefer to think of each one as a Monday, and I'm off work, again and again.

Good thinking. Very good. That definitely qualifies for a Big Brain Thinking Award. Too bad I'm not competent to award one

Otis did give me one for some other astute reasoning, but I've misplaced it.

Everyone must be out battling the Black Friday crowds.

Meanwhile, I had toasted English muffin, smeared with Mrs. Racer's homemade cranberry sauce with orange zest and ginger, and a healthy layer of leftover turkey meat (light and dark), washed down with some coffee (the way I like it, of course).

Then I had some apple and pumpkin pie with butter pecan ice cream for dessert.

I tried to get Mrs. Racer to put bacon in the green been casserole she made but ran into resistance. First, there was none in the house. I asked her to call the boy, and have him stop and get some on the way over.

More resistance.

The boy showed up, with some extra whipped cream and a couple cubes of butter for the smashed taters, but no bacon.

Said his mom didn't ask him to get bacon, although he agreed it would have gone great in the beans.

So as I'm about to wander into the kitchen and fix a plate for lunch, the green bean casserole won't have bacon in it.

Mrs Bob made sweet and sour green beans with lots of fried bacon on top.
The house smelled wonderful when she was cooking it all up, and they tasted wonderful with dinner.

Well, yesterday we went to #3 sons for Thanksgiving and to spoil the grandkids. three hour drive each way. Today was house cleaning, grocery shopping and then baking and decorating Christmas Cookies. They went into the freezer. Some leftovers for dinner and off to Lowes to look at a new kitchen sink and faucet. Now watching a little college football and typing this. .

You got that all wrong.

Yesterday for him is tomorrow for our American friends because they live in a backward time zone.
