But you will not be using teacups.
With the energy used with that calculation you could have shovelled several teapot amounts.

Now with over two feet of snow... I did some napkin calculations, and clearing the drive with this much snow is about the same as moving 2 million tea cups full...
Only 2 million?

That would make 860 years worth of tea cups for someone how drinks 5 cups per day (me). Roughly 8820 pounds of leaves, give or take.

Good to see I'm not the only Canadian to drink questionably excessive amounts of tea...

Reminds me of a quote from a morning explosion in WWI. The British had spent several months tunnelling under German positions, placing explosives and finally let them off one morning. There was a loud report and a shower of dead Germans (about 8000 of them). A General watching the final display aid "at this rate it is 264 years to get to Berlin".

I have often used this story to illustrate the behaviour of my "we broke the application, you must fix it in the infrastructure" friends:

A policeman sees a drunk man searching for something under a streetlight and asks what the drunk has lost. He says he lost his keys and they both look under the streetlight together. After a few minutes the policeman asks if he is sure he lost them here, and the drunk replies, no, and that he lost them in the park. The policeman asks why he is searching here, and the drunk replies, "this is where the light is"
---
...and I just discovered that the phenomenon actually has its own Wikipedia page: Streetlight effect - Wikipedia

...I suppose.

Getting ready to head to the Big Shed again. Yesterday was the first day back, although on restricted duty. No walking, stairs or ladders, limited standing (mostly sitting, with the foot elevated). Gotta use the knee scooter thing to get around.

So the Big Shed hasn’t changed much while I was gone. They still build the best flying buses available.

Nice to hear you are on the road to a complete recovery. Sounds like you'll be sprinting down the hallways in no time!
