Actually I just checked, the only place you see ʜoɔiЯ is on the bottom of the K-3ii....and back to your regularly scheduled bacon

Ah, but that's just a wannabe kaythree, a Blind As A Bat™ copy also known simply as the BAAB. The real one has the mark of the hociR on the back. Trust me, I know

It took me a few hours and a lot of my magic (they call me the Cat whisperer heh) but I managed to regain the trust of the cat.
I had a look at his tag and called the owners right away. Happy ending. *thumbs up

I guess the same vehicles as the Baja?
Somewhat.

Dakar has motorcycles, quads, "cars" (the term cars is used very loosely here), sxs, which are those 4 wheeled tubular chassis things that have become popular lately that have two seats, really long travel suspension, plenty of power and not much else, and finally, trucks.

Baja doesn't have trucks, but does have several "car" classes that cover the range from passenger car derivatives and buggys to exotic versions of pickups and suv type rigs, as well as motorcycles. I'm not sure if Baja has quads either, but they do have those sxs things.

Dakar is different because there are long stages through some very difficult terrain, much more so than Baja in some respects. Lots of endless dunes, and miles of regions where there are no roads at all.

Brutal stuff.

You can go to the Dakar website and they have lots of media there that showcase the machines.

The daily stages have been condensed to a short TV program each evening, catch it at your local pub.
