Stumbled upon this little film while looking around for tips on editing video and such. No, no, I'm not really interested in video, but, umm... well, there's a lot of interesting topics there, and filming with the Theta is really fun... Aaaanyway, I really liked this 3 minute film - it makes Norway look rather nice, I think

Mostly recorded in the area around Kristiansund, Molde, and Åndalsnes, looks like.

Well now it is Friday evening, I am home, Mrs. Racer is home after a week at the Pacific Coast with her sisters.

Friday night, beer night.

Having a Stella as I type.

Cheers, I suppose.

Had 3” of snow when I got up to get ready for work Monday morning. By the time I left the house it was down to an inch or so.

There was still snow in the shaded areas until yesterday.

Today it nearly hit 60.

All the pretty snow on the foothills and much of what was on the mountains is gone.

Not good. We need more snowpack in the mountains to keep the Evergreen state green all summer.

The count down is on now and as of Monday, my_camera_that_should_not_be_named_but_is_not_as_evil_as_its_predecessor will be taking pictures of rainy California. Yeah...NOT sunny. *sigh*

What are you doing with Harry Potter's camera?

They have been developing that for several years now. A folding truss wing with a 300 foot wingspan.

I dunno, a wingspan equal to a football field seems a bit excessive.

But what do I know?

I am but a lowly wing structures mechanic.

And once they have used the NASA budget for R&D, guess what is coming. A plane bigger than a B52 that can land and take off from a carrier, and after takeoff deploys the big wings by unfolding from the little ones used for takeoff, and when landing folds them up again so as to not foul on the tall office block on the right when landing. Might be a challenge. There were a few F1-11s that landed on non-prepared sites in Vietnam because foldable wings fell off.

But yeah, that's another reason to stay off those skis.

Speaking of Bert. The news this morning said some towns in Scotland have banned buskers (they like to give themselves the Orwellian title of 'street musicians') because of public nuisance because some of them are use AMPLIFIED bagpipes. And that in Scotland.

Yep, it's a different time zone, alright To be fair, though, that dude ain't Norwegian, he just lives here - and is married to the girl - who admittedly is Norwegian.

Of course! Well, at least I can point you in the right direction

My surroundings aren't quite as spectacular. Although... This guy seems to fancy my city. There are even some clips showing our little island in there

It will take 10 minutes of you time, though.

Good morning everyone!
Nine inches now, and they say maybe 3 to 4 more today.
It's chest high on a Labrador Retriever.
