BBC reports are a bit unsettling. "Zimbabwe opposition office torched. Several people have been killed and hundreds arrested following violent protests." Several of the employees at my wife's hotel couldn't get to work so I guess there are some road blocks, too. Things have been perfectly calm around the hotel, though, and it's not too far to the airport so getting there oughtn't be too difficult. It will be good to get her home anyway
Looks like it is time for her to head home.

Yep, her flight is this afternoon. In about two hours, in fact, so she ought to be on the airport already.

I could do with some of that sunny weather;
Sunday 41C, Monday 40C, Tuesday (today) 43C,
Forecast; Wednesday 45C, Thursday 41C, Friday 42C, then on Saturday...

30C!!!!!!!!!!!!

The people here seem incapable of comprehending that there could be such a thing as too much sunniness.

You wonder what planet they come from sometimes.

Hope all goes well for her. It is worrying to be far apart at such times.

I'm sure you're anxious to get her home safely.
Big hugs will be in order.

It was, in the leg, with an ice tool.
Fairly small, but hurt when walking or skiing.

I thought it might have been Mrs Peacock, in the kitchen, with a knife.

Funny definition of sunny...
For a place that almost never gets rain, it is really bucketing down. It is interesting though, all the deep dry ditches and spill ways that are usually dry, are raging torrents. I'll have to take a walk this aft when the sun comes out and gets a few pics.

Yeah, even with the rain, it is quite nice and it is only warming up to the twenties once the sun comes out. Quite acceptable.
