I'm not sure what happened to people accepting that you have to adjust your driving somewhat on slippery roads. It's especially bad when the first snow of the winter falls. It's as if people have never seen snow before. They drive like idiots, clogging up the traffic with their accidents.
This is one of the rare cases where things actually were better some decades back.
