Love of violent movies is a hell of a topic on Valentine's Day.
Charlie, the blame is on you.

I don't have a love of violent movies per se... rather, I love certain movies that happen to have violence in them. There's a lot of horror movies that I just don't enjoy because of the violence and gore, much of which seems to be the main point of the film(s). Actually, I dislike most modern mainstream horror movies for that reason... the shock tactics and gore. Most unpleasant...

That brings most of the Agatha Christie stories into scope, then... But I'm guessing that's not your gal's thing

If I were you, I'd remove any knives and other sharp objects from the house... Just to be on the safe side...

Ha ha. I guess

It clearly didn't have much lasting impact on you, though... but I'd say you're the richer for it. You've seen the dark side, stood on the very precipice, looked into the abyss of vegetarian "nutrition"... and returned with a nice, fat slab of prime steak to slap on the barbie
I lasted until breakfast where she was grilling something indescribably vile, "tofu". That was a turning point for me I think.

She must not have been grilling on a Weber, it makes tofu taste like..............hell if I know, but I'm with you, she had to go.

Get "tofu" out!

Her other qualities were "spectacular" so, pity about the tofu really.

Ichi opens with a particularly disturbing scene and gets worse

Speaking of non-flying buses, I see in the news that Airbus is going to stop building their latest airplane, the A380. Apparently they missed the mark when guessing the "future" or commercial flight. Airlines don't want GIGANTIC airplanes that carry that many people, flying in and out of major hubs. Instead they want smaller planes, flying to more airports.

Planes like the 737 and 787.

And for the high capacity long range flights they are content with the likes of the 777.

Hah!

Take that Airbus!
i think the 737 will outlive every commercial plane currently in use.

I see so many people (students) who are clumsy with their articles that I thought that was what you meant.
