Oh, she feels just fine thank you .
The things I am not sure about are the raven black hair, blue eyes, sparkling smile and her witty humor, all not very common traits in Finns.
I could be dating an imposter...
edit: except for the blue eyes.

Priest: How can I help you, my son?
Man: Father, I'm engaged to a wonderful woman. I realize that honesty is critical to a relationship and I've told her about my brother in Federal prison, my sister the madam, my father the bank robber, and my other brother, the meteorologist, and she's okay with all of that.
Priest: So, what's the problem?
Should I tell her that my great, great grandfather was Irish?

Kinda makes me feel bad for her.
Rest of us are coming back with higher percentage of being Finn. I am 94% Finn, rest divided up between swede Norway and Russia.

One day in February, 1999 the news reported that Pierre was the coldest city in the lower 48 that particular day. I don't remember the exact temperature, it was twenty-something below. That, in and of itself, isn't all that remarkable but later that year there was a day in late July that we were the hottest city in the nation.
If you polled a few hundred people at random as to what they considered "habitable" I'm pretty sure we would just barely qualify.

Then, why do they not do the sensible thing and move to a place they consider habitable?

Think of all the environmental problems that would be alleviated if people chose to live in laces which help them live in those places rather than fighting against the elements in inclement places.

I was thinking the same, but isn't that "whinging".

He might be thinking about that adjacent bit of Europe that fell off Britain where it gets "winey".

So that means you secretly look forward to the next of Bert's videos?

Good morning all. I have managed to recover after 10 hours spent alone with my wonderfully animated 20 month granddaughter. Wow, do they have energy to spare. The dog and I were exhausted.
