That scene always makes me wince.....*ouch*
Not my kind of sitcom, too creepy, but I watched it at some backpacker's once. That was one of several hilarious scenes that made me laugh. Some of the other guests thought I had a "sick sense of humour" They wanted to watch it, but I am the sick one?

I thought along the same lines when I saw Santa doing some work. He had the sense to wear flip-flops, or this could indeed go wrong! This was in Mindelo, Cabo Verde. We witnessed another guy fixing some (live, of course) electrical wiring while standing on a rickety plastic chair on an equally rickety table. Fascinating approach to health and safety. But the amplifier got back its power and the band could start playing. Some of the best musicians I've heard, too.

Taken with a Pentax camera with no K on it.

Read this obituary. Looks like the author has a sense of humour, and the deceased was quite the character.

Tim reminds me of someone else, someone with a Texas accent.

We got an offer to attend a CPR/defribillator course at work. I almost declined since it isn't that long since I last did that. Except it was 6 years ago Anyway, it was good to get a refresher. And keeping those compressions going is sweaty work! I also was remided of how damaged the carpal tunnels up my right arm are

Did you know that most patients brought to ER by ambulance suffer from hyopthermia? About 70% in Norway, but also almost 60% in California. Lying on the ground sucks away your body heat alarmingly quickly.

Oh, and those defibrillator thingies will pour some 200-350 Joule of energy through you in about 5 milliseconds. That's a heartstopping amount! Really, it is!

Clear!

I though they practised on dummies?

Seems like a strong coffee would have been a better idea, but I guess if you like a more powerful jolt...
