That's a fair point. Noted

Technically, I'm "semi-early-retired" (so not too far behind you). Even so, I drink less now - and later in the day - than I did when I was working in The City. These days, if I'm having a beer or glass of wine (or two... or three... and that's not uncommon, in all honesty ), it's rarely before 8pm... and I sip it, and enjoy it as a treat. Not like the old days of going out with a bunch of colleagues or employees, where it was all about blowing off steam and numbing the pain Much more enjoyable now, for sure...

I think the corpse reviver would kill me, and the negroni would make me sick.
Say good night Eddie.

Grilled bird flappers for dinner tonight, so crispy they were like fried.
there arw a few variants on the corpse reviver i lean towards the gin one. ...cocktail grade cognac i save for sidecars (2 parts cognac 1 part cointreau 1 part lemon juice shake over ice strain to a chilled coupe and enjoy. if you make a negroni w bourbon its a manhattan variant btw

Listening to "Return to Forever" "Fusion" and remembering the most awesome concert I saw in Montreal a dew years ago. Oh, and waiting for some picture to render.

My kind of woman, no tattoos, no green-blue-pink hair, or piercings, a breath of fresh air for an old fart like me.

LOL

That reminded me of an article I read in the UK version of Esquire some years ago... They were interviewing the guy who was caretaker and cleaner of the public lavatories on Park Lane in London. I'm paraphrasing (perhaps not 100% accurately), but as I recall, he said something like "we get so many tramps, drug addicts and rent boys in here, when someone comes in to take a dump, it's like a breath of fresh air"
