Not that kind of gimp.

My kind of gimp.

I missed adding a bit more to that first paragraph.

Since I'm lame in the right rear foot, getting about is difficult, even with all the accommodations for handicapped and disabled people under the ADA. So rather than drive to pick up my mom, taker her to breakfast, lunch or dinner (pick one ma, I'm not rich), and have all the bother that goes with being on crutches and then the holiday crowd . . . . . .

So yeah, we had some tube steak grilled till hot and juicy, and a little bit crispy on the outside.
Hey, I was comfortable picturing you like this!

Dashcam idiots. Taken from my Semi in Washington, Oregon and Canada - YouTube

Each and every day I was confronted by morons who had no clue the risks they were taking and the risks for injury they were placing themselves and others in.
Never a shortage of idiots on the roads. Here by us, 10h00 to 13h00 seems particularly bad. Lots of retired folks going about their business. I call it "idiot hour".

17:30, late afternoon, or early evening, take your pick. Sunset is at about 20:00.

No offence intended Bob. I'm sure you drive like you BBQ.

But here, we see all kinds of interesting maneuvers. Indicators are purely ornamental. Look left and right? Hahaha. 30km/h, oblivious to line of 30 vehicles behind.... And, mobility scooters.
I was driving behind one the other day. As she approached a fairly busy intersection, I realised she was not going to slow at all - even though she should have stopped. She just carried straight on through, not a look left or right and narrowly missed cars approaching from both sides. It was like a scene out of a movie.

I bbq low and slow, and grill hot and fast.
My driving is somewhere in between.

I could post some bumper stickers but then I'll have to send myself to the corner.

That's about the time you hop into something like this and cruise town. Mrs. Bob by your side, cashmere sweater, poodle skirt and bobby sox with saddle shoes.

Oh yeah.

A couple passes through town, then stop at the burger joint. Not to eat, just to hang out.

Ooh, zip-lining is fun! Just like Bob showed us

I tried it in South Africa. Even though I don't like hights it was really good fun - felt completely safe when strapped in and hooked up (bracing myself for what Bob might post to illustrate that...). Enjoy!
It was a blast....like you, I felt very safe. All were over the jungle and a couple went through a waterfall and then landed in water. And, we did two tours through caves in a side-by-side. A great day....oh and we did a swim through an underground riverm...so cool...I mean really cool ;-)
